Jon Hansen - Host of SCORE - Only on GAY CHICAGO TV

Hey everyone! My name is Jon Hansen, and I’m very excited to be a part of this great project. Gay Chicago TV will be like nothing you’ve seen. Through “Score” I’m eager to provide you with all the latest information and news from the gay leagues in town, as well as some unique perspectives on local athletes and collegiate and professional sports teams.

I want this show to be as much yours as it is mine. I want to give you information that YOU want. So please, keep in touch with me and let me know…what you want to know.

As for me, well, I’m an avid Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears fan. Growing up in the Jordan era, I obviously followed the Bulls, but my interest in basketball has waned ever since I discovered I cannot dribble with my left hand. I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2006 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, so I bleed Orange and Blue and cheer on the Fighting Illini. I currently work for Metro Networks, and serve as a reporter on WGN 720AM, WBBM 780AM and US-99.5 FM. I also work as an announcer for the Chicago Blackhawks, backing up the great Gene Honda as the voice of the United Center.

I can’t wait to hear from you, and hope that you tune in!
